USB Interface Cable

Cordless Alarm

Whilst not strictly an environmental control transmitter the cordless remote bleeper is a useful aid for independent living. By pressing a button on a portable transmitter a carer or parent who is nearby can be “paged”. It is ideal for homes, schools or centres where a person needs to be able to alert a carer when they are in difficulty. The transmitter can also be operated by an external switch if the person cannot press the button on the unit itself.

Big Jack

The Big Jack is a programmable InfraRed transmitter that can be used to control up to six devices using switches. For example Switch 1 could be programmed to turn on a television and Switch 2 could be programmed to change the t.v. station. A great tool for cause and effect training and introducing switch use.

When used in combination with an InfraRed controlled mainsadapter the Big Jack can be used to introduce the concept of environmental control. The switches can be easily programmed to turn on and off electric appliances such as lights, radios, fans etc.

Switch Latch and Timer

Normally when a switch is plugged into a device it turns it on for only as long as the switch is pressed, when you let go of the switch the device turns off. The switch latch and timer can be set up so that when the switch is pressed the device remains on until the switch is pressed again.

Toy Adapters

Toys and other battery operated appliances can be switched on and off using any switch and a Toy Adaptor. Comes in differnt sizes to suit different battery types. (Note: you must choose a toy that operates by itself once switched on)
