The Kit contains 20 switches plus accessories that can be used during assessment of an individual for switch use. In collaboration with therapists throughout Ireland the contents of the kit have been carefully chosen to address the needs of a wide and varied group of switch users.

A Valuable Resource
The kit is for therapists, technicians, teachers and others who wish to use switches with one or more individuals. It is intended to be used as a resource so that a large number of switches can be evaluated with a user in order that the correct selection can be made.

Activities and exercises all in one box
In order to evaluate a switch it has to be connected to something so that when it is pressed something happens! For this reason the kit includes a BigMack to which you can connect any of the switches in the kit. You can…

  • Evaluate a comprehensive range of switches of different size, pressure, feel and feedback
  • Record speech or music and play it back using the BigMack
  • Connect any switch to the BigMack and carry out simple cause and effect exercises
  • Activate any AA battery operated toy with the Toy-Adapter
